
How to make chana dal fritters? Chana Dal Fritters Recipe

Chana dal fritters recipe,a rich source of vitamin and having vegetables in it so a rich source of protein also. Adding curd enhance the taste of fritters. Grated ginger and green chillies add spice to the fritters. Cook these fritters on slow flame as the chana dal is coarsely ground and will take a while to cook well.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup chana dal, soaked for 4 to 5 hours and drained
- 1/2 cup finely chopped methi
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- 1/2 cup finely chopped spinach
- 4 to 6 curry leaves
- 1 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp curds
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp oil
- oil for cooking
Method:
- In a grinder, grind the soaked and drained chana dal to a form a coarse paste and add little water if required.
- In one bowl add fenugreek leaves, carrot, spinach, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger, curds, oil, salt and a little water and mix well.
- Pour a little batter on a greased pan with oil and spread it uniformly to form a circle.
- Cook on both the sides, using a little oil, till they turn golden brown in colour.
- Serve immediately with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
